Hala Gorani Commencement Speaker at George Mason University

Ms. Gorani will be the commencement speaker at her alma mater, George Mason University, on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.

"...She’s hoping her story—a student who came from abroad to study in the United States and wound up making a global impact—will resonate with Mason students, many of whom followed a similar path.

“I think my experience and my life over the last 20 years of my career can be useful,” she said by phone from her home base in London. “Many [students] come from abroad. Many of them are the first to graduate in their families.”"
